Do you have a strong sales background? Have you had success with Sales, specifically Catering Sales? If so, this is the position for you. 

 Duties:

  • The pursuit of sales opportunities in wedding, social and corporate markets.
  • Commitment to managing clients by providing the highest level of service, integrity and creativity.
  • Aesthetic event design including floral and décor.
  • Proposal budgeting and development.
  • Contract development and fulfillment.
  • Pre-event management of production details including purchasing, vendor relations, preparation of production schedules, floor plans and more.
  • On-site production management participating in the physical set up of equipment and coordination of production details.
  • Use of company software for event and inventory management.
  • Knowledge of Caterease a plus
  • Participation in internal company sales and production meetings.
  • Detailed sales planning and reporting. 

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 4 years of experience within the hospitality industry.  Floral or event design or wedding planning experience is a plus.
  • Ability to pursue sales opportunities including strategic pursuit, and relationship development.
  • Ability to identify needs and work proactively to resolve them.
  • Strong organizational, detail management and multi-tasking skills.
  • Availability to work a scheduled 40 hour Plus week, with flexible weekend and evening work.
  • Reliable transportation
  • Strong verbal communication skills including the ability to provide clear, direct information as well as the ability to listen, comprehend and respond.
  • Excellent written communication skills including grammar, creative writing, and spelling.
  • Ability to creatively design a special event with décor and floral and communicate ideas.
  • Ability to enthusiastically lead or be part of a team.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint as well as the ability to learn and utilize new computer software programs.
  • Ability and willingness to lift, carry, load and perform physical tasks
