Bartender/Server

Looking for a change of pace? barVino, a well-known wine bar and restaurant in the scenic Adirondacks, is seeking an experienced server/bartender to join our team. What you’ll do:
You’ll provide high-quality service to our guests, managing everything from small plates to wine and craft cocktails. You’ll handle opening and closing duties, help keep things running smoothly, and deliver top-notch guest experiences whether the restaurant is full or it's a slower day. The role includes bartending and serving responsibilities, with an emphasis on creating a warm, welcoming atmosphere for our guests.

Who we’re looking for:
We’re looking for someone with solid experience in both serving and bartending, ideally in upscale or fast-paced environments. You should be comfortable working in a quiet, rural area where things slow down during the off-season. If you're seeking a quieter lifestyle or enjoy the balance of working hard during busy times and enjoying downtime when things slow down, this could be the perfect fit. We are not accepting J-1 or H2B Visa applicants.

Where and When:
barVino is located in North Creek, NY, a small, seasonal town in the Adirondacks. We’re busiest during the winter ski season and summer tourism months, but things slow down in November and during off-season periods. It’s a remote, rural setting, so expect quiet days when the restaurant is closed or during the slower times. Housing may be available for the right candidate, offering a unique chance to live and work in this beautiful area. It is important to note that this is rural - there is a grocery store and cute things to do - but mostly skiing, hiking, outdoor activities and enjoying time at the restaurant. Housing - there is a shared apartment above the winebar, the rate per room is between $600-$700 per month plus utilities. This is a beautiful apartment, fully furnished, co-ed possible.
