  • Busser

    Food and Beverage
    Bandon
    $12.00 / hour + tips

    Position Summary:

    Sets and cleans eating area tables before, during and after meal service.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Serves water as guests are seated.
    • Assists in carrying food trays to tables.
    • Removes soiled dishes, glassware silverware and trash from table; brings to dish washing area.
    • Removes soiled linen and replaces with clean linen.
    • Cleans table tops prior to resetting.
    • Sets tables with silverware, glassware and clean linen.
    • Cleans the floors in the dining areas.
    • Stocks servers’ station with supplies.
    • Assists servers in their tasks.
    • Collects trash form dining areas, grill and other specified places after each serving period.
    • Dusts chairs before and after meals.
    • Keeps ice bins and buckets filled.
    • May function as Expeditor to ensure orders from kitchen ensuring accuracy, cleanliness and timeliness.
    • May function as Room Service Attendant to deliver orders to guest rooms with Company vehicle.
    • Other duties as requested.

    Qualifications:

    • Ability to analyze and solve problems; efficiently handle multiple duties under pressure with minimal supervision; work flexible hours as required including nights/weekends.

    Working Conditions:

    Work hours may include days and evenings on weekdays and weekends.  Work primarily indoors in a restaurant/lounge environment, with some outdoor work involving patio, pool, and on-course service.  Will be exposed to sharp utensils, extremely hot stoves and grills, sharp and rapid equipment movements, hot food, potentially dangerous chemicals and solvents on a daily basis.  May be exposed, from time to time, to inclement weather, potentially dangerous pesticides, herbicides, fertilizers, equipment movement hazards, and misdirected golf balls.   Injury may result as a result of exposure to the above if safety policies and practices are not properly followed at all times.

  • Server

    Food and Beverage

    Position Summary:

    Greets and serves food and/or beverages to patrons.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Provide immediate attention to all members/guests upon seating, greet warmly and distribute menus.
    • If local water conservation laws permit, fill glasses with ice water while guests decide upon order; answer questions and suggest menu items.
    • Take member/guest food and/or drink orders.
    • Turn orders into kitchen; inform cooks about any special cooking instructions.
    • Assemble food on tray; procure items from each station as necessary.
    • Serve meal; place dishes by courses in front of each person; serve from left of the person.
    • Check back to ensure member/guest satisfaction; replenish water and butter as necessary.
    • Remove soiled dishes as guests finished.
    • Suggest and serve dessert, coffee, and after dinner drinks.
    • Verify accuracy of prices, state and federal taxes, tips and other charges on all checks and present bill to guests.
    • Handle all cash and credit cards as applicable from guest/member charges as prescribed by standard operating procedures.
    • Keep tables, dining room and bus station clean and tidy.
    • Advises supervisor of any complaints as soon as they occur.
    • Performs side work, clean-up and closing duties as assigned.
    • Prepare for opening/Shift changes and/or closing according to Company procedures including cleaning, inspection for adequate supplies, procuring additional supplies as necessary.

    Position Summary:

    Prepares food in accordance with Company recipes and standards.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Prepare and serve all required food items in accordance with established portions and presentation standards.
    • Set up service units and prep cook station with needed items.  Maintain and break down as appropriate.
    • Ensure that assigned work areas and equipment are clean and sanitary according to Company standards and state and local health and safety regulations.
    • Maintain security and safety in the kitchen according to Company policy.
    • Maintain neat professional appearance, assigned uniform requirements and observes personal cleanliness rules and sanitation standards at all times.
    • Requisition items needed to produce menu items.
    • Perform mathematical calculations involving fractions, decimals, and percentages.
    • Retrieve, read and interpret information from technical sources.
    • Ensure guests receive the best quality service and overall excellent experience while dining at our facility. Greeting and serving guests with a smile and pleasant demeanor.

  • Dishwasher

    Food and Beverage

    Primary Duties:  

    · Wash all wares in dishwashing machine or by hand.  

    · Polish all silverware, platters and chafing dishes.  

    · Wash and polish all stainless steel in kitchen, including shelves, dish cabinets, ice machines, coffee area, refrigerators, walk-ins, etc.  

    · Wash or clean receiving area and trash areas.  

    · Collect trash from kitchen areas, empty garbage barrels, wash and re-line with new bags.  

    · Examine garbage for silverware, dishes and glassware. Remove and clean as necessary.  

    · Sweep and mop kitchen floors.  

    · Store all dishes and other wares in proper areas.  

    · Clean dish machine after each meal period.  

    · Assist in food preparation, putting away deliveries, and cleaning coolers, freezers and storage rooms as needed.  

    · Perform other duties as appropriate.  

      

    Minimum Qualifications:  

    · High school education preferred.  

    · Restaurant experience preferred.

  • Expo/Runner

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Complete understanding and demonstration of all food menu items
    • Complete understanding and demonstration of standard of service
    • Inspects all guests order for completeness and quality prior to delivery to table
    • Delivery of orders from kitchen to table in a timely manner
    • Will assist Server in presentation of meals
    • Upon delivery of orders to table, completes a table check with guests
    • Assists servers by delivering and refilling beverages, pre-bussing tables and promptly resolving any guest requests
    • Maintains cleanliness and sanitary condition of dining room and service areas
    • Assists in completion of post shift clean up and side work duties
    • Attends all department meetings as scheduled

  • Front Desk Agent

    Front Office

    Primary Duties: 

    · Communicate effectively with guests, management, staff and co-workers. 

    · Provide guests with all pertinent information regarding hotel policies. 

    · Must be detail oriented with the ability to multi-task. 

    · Perform check-in and checkout procedures. Complete check-ins and check-outs in a proactive manner. 

    · Provide concierge-type service 

    · Work with service providers, such masseuse and shuttle transportation, to provide amenities for guests. 

    · Take golf and hotel reservations over the phone and/or in person as required. 

    · Provide professional friendly, positive, up-beat and hospitable service at all times. Publicly support all hotel policies. 

    · Ability to reconcile shift banks/financial statements. 

    · Promote hotel amenities (restaurant and bar) to guest in order to maximize hotel revenue. 

    · Assist guests with problems and disputed billing concerns. 

    · Perform additional tasks as assigned by management.

      

    Qualifications:

    · Prefer a working knowledge of Visual One and Golf Pro

  • Greenkeeper

    Position Summary: 

    Under general direction from Superintendent, Asst Superintendent and Section Leader, the Greenkeeper safely utilizes a variety of tools, machinery and equipment to perform maintenance duties around the golf course and grounds. Responsibilities also include cleaning equipment after each use and performing minor repairs and/or routine maintenance on the equipment. 

      

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 

    · Safely operate equipment and accessories as trained and assigned including, but not limited to, greens mowers, rotary mowers, flymos, gang mowers, tri-plex mowers, vertical mowers, line trimmers, edgers, utility vehicles, back-pack blowers, portable pumps, aerifiers, spikers, mechanical top dressers, sod cutters, mechanical bunker rakes, tractors, sweepers, blades, loaders, backhoes, trenchers, chain saws, and miscellaneous hand tools. 

    · Properly care for assigned equipment by inspecting machinery before and after each use, cleaning machinery after each use, making necessary minor adjustments to equipment and reporting machinery/equipment problems to the mechanic. 

    · Maintain maintenance and fluid use logs (gas and oil) on assigned equipment. 

    · Perform daily maintenance tasks on the golf course and grounds as well as the maintenance facility and clubhouse as assigned and directed. Duties may include, but not limited to, loading and unloading materials, trimming trees, removing cuttings, laying sod, hand raking bunkers, drainage installation and repair, and repairing ball marks and filling divots.  

    · Perform golf course service and set up work as directed. 

    · Perform other duties as assigned. 

      

    Qualifications: 

    · High school required or preferred. 

    · 1 year experience with equipment and/or in golf course maintenance or landscaping preferred.

  • Housekeeper

    • Maintain housekeeping carts with cleaning supplies, linen, towels, etc.
    • Enter and prepare guest rooms for cleaning.
    • Collect soiled linen for laundering.
    • Replenish guest rooms with bath supplies, glasses and amenities.
    • Dust room including all furniture and fixtures.
    • Vacuum guestrooms, hallway carpets and upholstered furniture.
    • Sweep, mop, scrub, wax and polish floors as required.
    • Clean bathrooms, including but not limited to wiping shower stalls and curtains, clean and sanitize toilets, clean sinks and fixtures, wipe down mirrors, wash tiles, and tub.
    • Strip and re-make beds with fresh linen.
    • Check guest rooms for damage, burnt out light bulbs, dripping faucets, running toilets, etc.   Make report to maintenance as necessary to accommodate repairs.

    Job Summary:

    The Reservation Agent's primary responsibility is to provide the highest standard of customer service while booking as many reservations as possible. The ideal candidate would be self-motivated, customer-focused and detail-oriented with a high degree of computer literacy, the willingness to learn new processes, and the ability to merge into a dynamic work environment. The Reservations team is committed to give all guests an exceptional first impression of the resort by being “Genuine, Helpful & Friendly” at all times, while striving to make the booking process and journey to Bandon Dunes as smooth, easy and enjoyable as possible.

    • Book, update and assist future reservations for new and returning guests
    • Answer calls and emails in a prescribed, friendly and professional manner
    • Guide each reservation to be the best possible “Guest Experience” by tailoring it to the individual or group’s needs & desires for dates, lodging, tee times, caddies, itineraries, dinners, travel options and other resort activities.
    • Promptly follow up with inquiries and keep track of leads who have not yet booked

  • Guest Services Agent

    • Greet and interact with guests, assisting with golf bags and luggage
    • Provide information, directions and or assistance to guests as appropriate
    • Transport guests, luggage & clubs to and from rooms, golf course, practice facility, and bag storage areas in Resort Shuttles.
    • Greet guests at each course, clean golf clubs, unload golf clubs from carts and assist with transporting and loading into vehicles or returning bags to the storage area as appropriate.

  • Food and Beverage Manager - The Forge

    Responsible for overseeing the daily operations of The Forge Restaurant. Manage staff, training, culture, guest flow, business plans and relationships. Oversee activities and services to ensure the department is operating to plan. Ensure proper recruitment, training and supervision of all F&B front-of-house personnel with primary responsibility for ensuring quality, consistency and excellent guest service in a manner that complies with Bandon Dunes Golf Resort Food and Beverage standards and Kemper Sports policies and procedures along with our True Service Customer Service values. Provide exceptional guest service through leadership, communication and follow-up with guests and employees. Identify and develop incremental revenue opportunities, products and services in keeping with the Bandon Dunes philosophy. Encourage and maintain a culture of producing results and getting things done by instilling an environment that rewards quick decision making. Improve processes and procedures to make the organization more efficient and effective to achieve financial, operational, business and human resource goals.

     

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Daily operations of The Gallery Restaurant: guest service, service standards, cash handling, staffing in accordance with Bandon Dunes Golf Resort and KemperSports policies and procedures.
    • Aid in implementing the annual budget plan according to Company operating policies and procedures to ensure profit goals are achieved as outlined.
    • Plan and implement staffing schedules to ensure customer service standards are achieved with minimum employee cost. Monitor activities to ensure compliance with Company payroll policies and procedures.
    • Ensure compliance with operating guidelines related to the OLCC and TIPS programs. Ensure operations comply with all state and federal laws, rules and regulations, relating to food and beverage sanitation, alcohol and tobacco, and ADA requirements.
    • Ensure adherence of all appropriate sanitation standards including, but not limited to, employee hygiene and uniforms, kitchen food service equipment and preparation areas, food storage areas, dining areas, patio, snack bar areas, bar areas, restrooms.
    • Establish and implement a cleaning and preventative maintenance program for appropriate fixtures, equipment, appliances, vehicles, etc.
    • Implement and monitor the purchase ordering and receiving program to maintain par-stock levels on food and beverage inventories and ensure proper quantity and price on all purchases.
    • Monitor internal cost controls for the department. Ensure quality levels of food and beverage products and maintain standards in production, presentation, services, facilities, and guest satisfaction.
    • Develop promotional programs to improve dollars per round.
