The Lodge at Whitefish Lake is the ideal location for summer employment. Located on the shores of beautiful Whitefish Lake, we're surrounded by some of Montana’s most beautiful wilderness, a quick drive and easy access to Glacier National Park and at the base of Whitefish Mountain Resort. In addition, The Lodge is located in Whitefish which is a quaint and unique town offering great restaurants, shopping, live music, and festivals throughout the summer. A perfect setting to work hard and play harder, enjoying all that Montana has to offer. We are a year round resort but our “peak” summer season officially starts on June 15th and ends October 15th. The area offers an abundance of recreational activities and experiences you will never forget!

Employee Perks
The Lodge provides discounts to its employees for lodging (based on availability and management approval) as well as discounts on meals in our restaurant, retail in our boutique, marina rentals and spa services. We also provide $4-6 staff lunches prepared by one of our chefs 7 days a week. We encourage our employees to experience everything The Lodge has to offer and also encourage experiencing all of the activities in the area, many of which we get discounts for.
Getting Here and Getting Around
The Lodge is located 20 minutes from Glacier Park International Airport (FCA) in Kalispell, Montana. The Lodge staff would be happy to pick you up at the airport when you arrive. The Kalispell airport offers daily flights on the following airlines:
- Delta
- Horizon/Alaska Airlines
- Allegiant Air
- United Airlines
Amtrak is also an easy way to get to the Lodge. The Amtrak Station in Whitefish is only 5 minutes from the Lodge and shuttle service is provided.
There is transportation available to get you around Whitefish and surrounding areas, although once you arrive there will be little need, as everywhere you will wish to go in town is within walking distance.
For Fun
During time off employees have an opportunity to play! You can experience many of the activities our guests enjoy. Horseback riding, waterskiing, wake boarding, white-water rafting, stand-up paddle boarding, sailing, fishing, zip-lining, hiking, tennis, and volleyball are all activities available in the immediate area. Many employees explore the surrounding area visiting Glacier National Park, and spending time in the towns of Bigfork, Kalispell, and Whitefish.
