About Arizona Outdoor Fun
Arizona Outdoor Fun is a locally-owned, family-oriented company 10 years in the making. Our employees truly drive the root of our success as one of the highest-rated tour companies in the state. What we do here is provide our guests with the experience of a lifetime - from the moment they arrive until the moment they step back into their vehicles, we strive to make their time with us as memorable as possible. While the vehicles are fun, the trails adventurous, and the scenery breathtaking, our guides are what truly make our tours unique.
We are one of the few tour companies that hire our team members as actual employees, not independent contractors (seasonal folks are no exception!). What this means for you is additional security and a more steady paycheck, in addition to the generous gratuities from guests. Since we operate year round, full-time positions can potentially extend beyond a single season, opening our guides up to medical and dental benefits, increased pay and responsibilities, and off-season work.
As a 5-star rated company on TripAdvisor, our ideal candidate is someone who can truly provide our guests with a once-in-a-lifetime experience. That experience comes from the vehicles and trails, but the biggest factor is with our guides. Those who strive to go above and beyond the expectations of the guests find the greatest measure of success here. Our guides operate fairly autonomously, usually with minimal supervision from the Operations Manager and the Owner. Being able to be trusted to work independently and still provide 110% of yourself is absolutely critical. At it's core, working at Arizona Outdoor Fun is not difficult, yet provides challenges in many ways most people find far more rewarding.
Room and Board
Housing is NOT provided, however some of our seasonal employees have stayed on-site with their own campers/trailers. We don't have on-site hookups other than power and water (provided free of charge), but we are just down the road from two RV parks with full hook-ups as well as dry camping sites. If that is not for you, we can recommend housing in nearby Anthem or you can explore the many housing options in the Phoenix area.
What could be better than getting paid to ride ATVs all day? On top of the job itself, our employees are open to a number of perks and benefits. If you plan to stay with us beyond 60 days you will become eligible for our benefits package! Our employees also enjoy company-paid training for a variety of disciplines including first aid, NRA firearms certifications, and more. Want to take your family out for a private tour? You can do that too!
And last but not least, all AZOF employees get 15% off their entire order at the local Nora Jean's Koffee Kitchen - best breakfast burritos in the state!
Getting Here and Getting Around
We're located right off the Interstate 17 freeway, about 20 minutes north of Phoenix, which makes us very accessible. Most of our seasonal employees reside in one of two RV parks that are within walking/biking distance of our location. We also have space right on site for smaller trailers (power and water hookups provided) so no transportation is usually necessary. For those considering living elsewhere (i.e. Phoenix/Anthem), personal transportation is highly recommended.
