Visitors who have long wanted to experience Alaska come to Top of the World Hotel to stay in what may be one of the most unique destinations of the world. From the dining room windows overlooking the Arctic Ocean guests can experience “The Land of the Midnight Sun” or breath taking views of polar bears and migrating whales.
Top of the World Hotel’s Niggivikput-'our place to eat' is primarily a dine-in establishment, that provides food and beverage options for the new Top of the World Hotel. The restaurant is open from Mon – Saturday from 6:00 AM to 10:00 PM and Sunday from 8 AM – 10 PM. The menu features mainly American cuisine, serving upwards of 90 patrons in its main dining area and 30 in the group dining areas with additional F & B needs for gatherings throughout the week. Top of the World Hotel integrates the values of the local Inupiaq culture in all aspects of operating the hotel.
As the Food and Beverage Manager of a dynamic team of 12-20 employees; you will play a critical role in helping to ensure our guests have a once-in-lifetime experience.

You will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of an in house restaurant that caters to the hotel guests and community of Barrow, Alaska.
Qualified candidates will be able to demonstrate the ability to oversee day to day operations, and establish priorities consistent with the objectives.
This position requires you to reside in Barrow, Alaska. The restaurant is located inside the new Top of the World hotel, which is 3 story building, with a 70 room facility and a fully equipped kitchen and dining area that seats approximately 90 people. The restaurant is open Monday to Saturday 6am to 10pm, and Sundays 8am to 10pm.
