About Aramark Pikes Peak

How awesome would it be to tell all your friends and family members that you work on the mountain of Pikes Peak!  Truly working in the clouds!  On a clear day, you can have views as far as Kansas or New Mexico.  Even during the warm summer months, you have views of beautiful snow-capped mountains of the Continental Divide.

As one of our team members, you will make friends of a lifetime and meet people from all over the world.  Pikes Peak is one of the most visited landmarks in Colorado and working on the mountain provides you with unique experiences that you will never find in all your future work environments.

The Employee Experience

Working on the mountain is truly one of the most unique experiences ever!  Many of our guests are in awe of how you make it up the mountain daily.  They will relish in your stories of getting up and down and working in different capacities to include food service, retail, custodial and some employees are even certified emergency medical technicians.  The elevation of 14,115 feet is certainly something everyone is amazed by hearing.  One of your most asked questions is "How do you get up here?"

The simple answer to the above question is we transport you and all employees up the mountain which takes anywhere from 30 minutes to an hour up a 19-mile road.  We have two shifts during the summer hours and we are able to work around most schedules.

After working a season on Pikes Peak, many of our employees return back the following season as the experience is one that truly unforgettable.

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate is one that enjoys working with others and can work in a team environment with a high volume of guests.  Your customer service skills and ability to make our guests feel at home on this mountain is of the utmost importance.  You must be a self-starter and enjoy keeping busy.  Candidate must also possess excellent communication skills and be willing to go above and beyond to make all our guests feel comfortable.

Room and Board

We do not provide room and board; however, the city of Colorado Springs or Woodland Park Colorado are very close to the mountain.  There are various facilities such as campgrounds for RV parking within 10 miles from the entrance of Pikes Peak.  In Colorado Springs (a pickup point located between Manitou Springs and Old Colorado City) there are several apartment buildings or locations for rent.  Our employees receive one free meal for each daily shift they work plus our world famous donuts which will not disappoint!

Employee Perks

During the summer months, our facility is open and free to employees if they want to hike, bike, fish or do some pedal boating at our first store Crystal Reservoir.  The employees receive 40% off all retail merchandise and 50% all food!

Getting Here and Getting Around

Colorado Springs is a very bike-friendly city and public transportation has a drop off point exactly where our employee van picks employees up.  Therefore, there is no definite need for a car, but there is ample parking available if you do have a vehicle.  Colorado Springs also has an airport served by most major airlines.

For Fun

You can expect a fun-filled adventure living and working in this area.  You will have the opportunity to hike, bike, climb, raft, canoe, ride, photograph, star gaze, bird watch, dance, attend music festivals and concerts and this is to only name a few things that will be available to you!
