Mesa Verde National Park is the nation’s largest archaeological preserve with over 4000 sites and is designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The park’s rich history and culture are reflected in the spectacular cliff dwellings and mesa-top pueblo sites occupied from approximately 500 A.D. through 1300 A.D. 100-mile vistas into 4 states from the high elevations (8250 feet).
The elevation is good to know and the history is rich and beautiful for sure... but here is the scoop... this is summer camp on steroids with a paycheck. Our motto is Work Hard Play Hard. This property is for the outdoor junkie or someone wanting to be. The Four Corners has world class hiking, biking, climbing, fishing, rafting, kayaking. Not to mention river side brewery's, distilleries and even a cidery. This location is as extreme as you want it to be and may leave a mark. I'm not talking about skinned knees, the people you meet here will be with you forever.
The Employee Experience
Living and working in Colorado's San Juan Mountain range is an experience like you have never had before.
Our summer staff is as diverse as it gets. We have associates starting their first job, interns adding practical hours to their college transcripts, traveling international students working to pay for their US travel experience, local folks who are looking for something to do until the ski lifts open back up and RV'ers or retired professionals who are looking for adventure. What they all have in common is they work hard, love the Southwest and all the beauty it holds.
The area is remote, so if you are accustomed to the sounds and accessibility of city living with a taxi on every block, this would not be for you.
BUT... if you are a hiker, mountain biker or wilderness adventurer looking for that hidden gem, Mesa Verde might be what you were looking for. Mesa is that place drawn on a coaster by a local you sat next to. We can tell you where to find a hidden water fall or the natural hot spring located just off the trail. With this southwest adventure, you will make memories and friendships that will last a lifetime.
The ideal candidate will be able to work April - October and will be able to provide the kind of guest experience that will have our visitors returning to us again and again! Our happiest associates are here to have fun, make money and know they will be working hard. Many of our associates live on property and are able to walk away with money to buy a car, pay into a student loan, take a month off and travel.
If you think you are up to the challenge, then apply below to become a part of the team this summer!
