Bartender/Lodge Support

This Bartender/Lodge Support position requires some bartending experience. You will be asked to help out with basic lodge duties (this can include housekeeping, grounds work, kitchen help, serving etc.) in the morning, and then bartending in the evenings.

Alaska's Gold Creek Lodge is a fishing and adventure lodge located in King salmon, Alaska at the entrance of Katmai National Park. AGCL caters to all types of guests, from celebrities to everyday bucket listers.

We pride ourselves on offering top-notch 5-star facilities and the best possible customer service. We cater to, and anticipate every need of our guests to ensure the best possible guest experience. We are looking for team members who are flexible and have a friendly, outgoing, get along with everyone demeanor.

Working in Alaska can be tough, you will be asked to do a wide range of duties in challenging conditions, so a good attitude at all times will go along way. We look for those individuals who are mentally tough, who can work and live in a remote wilderness environment with LIMITED INTERNET ACCESS. We have high expectations when it comes to our staff members, so those with tough skin, a strong work ethic, and a get it done attitude will be great candidates.

At AGCL we have strict rules when it comes to drugs and alcohol. Please consider this carefully before applying. Room and board are included with your salary. Employee accommodations are nice, comfortable, and usually shared (2 per room). We love animals and have 2 lodge dogs on the property, who are a big part of our team ( you must be a dog person and be willing to help with the care of the lodge dogs).  However, we cannot consider candidates who want to bring their personal pets with them. It just doesn't work,  is too big of a liability, and creates more work for us.

With the challenging work environment comes rewards. You will meet interesting people from all over the world, and will have the chance to adventure on your own from time to time throughout the season. Our season runs from June 1-September 30th.
