Alaska Wildland Adventures is Hiring our 2023 Hospitality Team!
THE DEETS:
- We offer free housing and provide all food for all staff free of cost with no deduction from paychecks.
- We provide 2 consecutive days off every week for opportunity to adventure, rest, and enjoy Alaska.
- Our Chefs prepare dinner daily for all staff.
- We have locations on the Kenai River, glacially fed lakes, and on the coast.
- Minimum starting wage for entry level positions begin at $15.00/hour with free room and board and scale upward depending on position responsibilities and applicant experience.
- With over 75% of our staff being returning team members, we offer great support and training for all positions.
- Airport transportation offered to all staff at start and end of their contracted dates.
- Support offered to employees with aspirations to learn new roles whether it be guiding, managing, etc.
OUR LODGES:

KENAI RIVERSIDE LODGE: located in Cooper Landing on the Kenai River! We have a private entrance to the world class fishery of the Kenai River. Cooper Landing is a small, bustling summer town with access to several trails, lakes, rivers, and community events. This is our only lodge accessible by road offering abundant opportunities to explore the greater area.

KENAI BACKCOUNTRY LODGE: located across a glacially fed lake and accessed via raft or boat, this historically homesteaded lodge is nestled at the base of the two-million acre Kenai National Wildlife Refuge and on the shores of Skilak Lake. This is our smallest lodge, providing both guests and staff an intimate experience with the peaceful surroundings.
- KENAI FJORDS GLACIER LODGE: located in the fjords of Aialik Bay, this remote coastal lodge is worth the 4-hour boat ride to access. Partnered with Port Graham Native Co., we have private access to lagoons and trails in addition to our easy access of Kenai Fjords National Park.
THE POSITION:
- Responsible for cleaning guest cabins, providing attentive guest service, serving meals, and managing laundry, guest requests, moving luggage, and packing snacks for adventures.
- Folks that thrive in this position typically find satisfaction in improving spaces through cleanliness and organization. This position is typically in high demand and has many time sensitive tasks in a typical work day. Well-paced work, efficient time management, and a "team work makes the dream work" mentality will set folks up to succeed in this role.
- While this role consists of general cleaning and hospitality tasks, we always look to invest in our staff should they have aspirations to grow into other roles.
