Office Assistant/Front Desk

Key traits for success: customer service skills, organization, time management, initiative, teamwork. Office Assistants are responsible for supporting all aspects of front desk and office operations, including: greeting guests, answering questions, and providing information; preparation of reports and information; helping guests check in and check out; assisting the office manager with accounting and data entry; distribution of reports; special projects; attending to special guest needs and staff needs in a timely fashion; assisting the store manager with sales and daily operation of the store; answering phones; coordinating communications (including emergency situations); coordinating logistics for guest transportation; keeping the store and office areas clean; etc. Other tasks include scheduling transportation and vehicles, maintaining office assistant work schedules, fishing license processing, ordering consumables and office supplies, storeroom organization, entering sales and deposits, processing daily receivables and payables, inventory maintenance, etc. During times when all Office Assistants are not needed for regular office/store duties, they are expected to help in other departments, including rangers, housekeeping, etc.
All Office staff work a 6-day work week with an average of 8 hours/day. They must be able to lift/carry at least 40 pounds.
