Grounds Crew/Ranch Hand

Grounds Crew/Ranch Hand/Maintenance: Works as a member of the Grounds Crew/Ranch Hand team, reports to Maintenance Director.

Key traits for success: work ethic, stamina, independence, responsibility, teamwork. Members of the Grounds Crew/Ranch Hand team are responsible for assisting in the upkeep and operation of ranch equipment and facilities. This includes vehicles, equipment, buildings, machinery, roads, and infrastructure. They are also responsible for landscaping, mowing, golf course upkeep, sprinkler system maintenance, fencing, tree trimming, firewood cutting, trail maintenance, weed control, fertilizing, trash and recycling, special projects (including carpentry and welding) and other tasks. Members of the Grounds Crew/Maintenance team are responsible for all areas of general facility and property upkeep. During times when they are not needed for their regular duties, they are expected to help in other departments.

All Grounds Crew staff work a 6-day work week with an average of 8 hours/day. They must be able to lift/carry at least 50 pounds.
