Works as a member of the Food and Beverage team, reports to Food and Beverage Manager.

Key traits for success: teamwork, time management, customer service, work ethic, attention to detail. Responsible for contributing to all areas of staff and guest food service, in addition to serving meals. These responsibilities include preparing the dining rooms and other meal service areas (e.g., cookouts) for meals, bussing tables, washing dishes, cleaning up meal areas after meals, and regular deep cleaning of the dining room, kitchen, and other food service areas. Food service staff must maintain high standards of cleanliness and provide top-quality customer service and dining experiences for ranch guests and staff. Food service staff work closely with the cooks and culinary staff. When they are not needed for regular food service staff duties, they are expected to assist other departments on the ranch, including cabin hosts, Children’s program, landscaping, etc.

All food service staff work a 6-day work-week with an average of 8-9 hours/day. They must be able to lift/carry at least 40 pounds.
