Cabin Host / Housekeeper (Short Season)

Cabin Host/Housekeeper: Works as a member of a close-knit team, reports to Head Housekeeper/Cabin Host.

Essential responsibilities include:

• Providing cleaning services in all guest areas of the Ranch, including cabins and houses, and public areas (bar, recreation room, guest laundry, poolside bathrooms, etc.).
• Daily duties such as: general cleaning, vacuuming, wiping down and sanitizing all hard surfaces, making beds, laundry, ice delivery, and nightly turn-down service
• Meeting special lodging requests by guests
• Working in rotation to host in the Round Room (bar and lodge) and assisting the bartender in the evenings
• Assisting as food servers for the weekly dinner cookout (responsible for set-up, serving, and clean up for the cookout)
• Rotating through shifts as evening babysitters for guest children

During times when Cabin Hosts are not needed for regular Cabin Host duties, they are expected to help in other departments, including the Children’s Program, landscaping, maintenance/grounds, trail crew, food service team, etc.

Key traits for success: attention to detail, teamwork, stamina, work ethic, and desire to serve others.

All Cabin Host staff work a 6-day work week with an average of 7-8 hours/day. They must be able to lift/carry at least 40 pounds.
