For Fun

We want our staff to thoroughly enjoy their time spent at the lodge. Days off are a perfect way to take advantage of the remote location. Therefore employees are encouraged to hike our trails. The most established being a one and a half mike hike up Wolverine Creek to the exquisite McDonald Lake. There you may take part in some of the world’s most superb Trout fishing. Some other activities include saltwater fishing for King Salmon and Halibut, wildlife viewing, and kayaking/swimming in the pristine Alaskan waters. Having a hobby will also provide employees with a more enjoyable stay. For example, photography, painting, drawing, reading, writing, knitting/crocheting, are all fantastic ways for employees to relax and take pleasure in their time off.
