Room and Board
The amount of room and board deduction is based on the number of hours an employee works during the pay period (not on the number of days at location).
A pay period is two weeks long. The maximum room and board deduction per paycheck is $193.00 (plus applicable sales tax). for employees who work 64 or more hours in that pay period. For employees working 63 hours or less during a pay period, the amount of the deduction is prorated based on actual hours worked.
For employees who have arranged with their hiring department to bring their own RV, the site rental will vary from $130.00 to $141.00 per pay period (two weeks) and will be deducted from their paycheck. Some sites require separate billing for utilities and exact deductions will be specified in your employee agreement.
Laundry facilities are available on location.

Connecting to the world is not like home! Yellowstone is a wilderness area, and reception for radio is limited. Reception for television is non-existent! Employees may bring their own music to listen to and television/DVD/VCR combo units are usually available for rent on location, along with a variety of movie rentals.
Cell phone service ranges from "not great" to "non-existent". Many employees bring and use cell phones with varying amounts of success. At this time, there are two cell companies with tower service in the park. Verizon on the eastern and northern portions and Cellular One on the southern end of the park. Each location has payphones located in employee housing, so be sure to bring a pre-paid phone card to call home! Limited Internet access is included with your housing fee.
