The Woodstock Inn & Resort is a year-round, four season resort nestled in the center of Woodstock, Vermont - a village of remarkable beauty. Located in the Green Mountains in Central Vermont, we have everything to offer from hiking, fly-fishing to golf, and during winter we have the finest cross-country and alpine skiing in the east right nearby.
The Woodstock Inn & Resort has as its centerpiece the Inn itself, located on the lovely Woodstock Village Green. The resort offers luxurious accommodations and the finest facilities year-round, not only at the Inn but also at the Woodstock Country Club, Woodstock Sports Center, and in the winter, at Suicide Six downhill ski area and Woodstock Ski Touring Center.

Employment Opportunities
Alpine Ski Area Positions: "Suicide 6" Our alpine ski area is seeking Snowmaker/Lift attendants, Ski and Snowboard Instructors, and an Assistant Ski School Director.
Ski Touring Center Director: Seasonal position managing ski touring facility. Certified instructor
with supervisory experience, sales and marketing skills.
Conference Services: Working to stage every conference meeting, and food and beverage function, according to the specifications of our Sales Department, these employees are the "set-up" and "break-down" crew, but also provide service to our conference clients during their meetings. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
Doorperson/Bellperson: Meets and greets our guests. Carries luggage, must be able to lift up to 80 lbs. Applicants must possess a valid driver's license and clean driving record.
Houseperson: Cleans public space, handles linen, stocking and removal, moves furniture. Must be able to perform heavy lifting.
Front Desk Supervisor: One of the two supervisors for front office staff, reporting to Rooms Manager. Seek person with prior hotel front desk experience.
PBX Operator: This position answers and directs all incoming telephone calls to the resort and handles a variety of duties in the front office. Excellent training opportunity.
Reservationist: This position handles reservations requests and works on the phone/computer. Seek applicants with superior sales skills and who excel with customer service.
Watch Engineer: Keeping an eye on our mechanical systems, and ready to respond to perform small repairs and performing routine maintenance and some cleaning, this position is stafffed round the clock at the Inn. Shifts vary
Culinary: Seek applicants for Cook I and Cook II positions. Culinary degree
and prior experience in a top quality restaurant preferred. Externships are possible depending on available time period.
Restaurant Server: Waiting tables in one of our three dining outlets. Fine Dining experience is preferred for Dining Room. Previous food service experience required.
Busser: Bus tables and assist restaurant servers.
Kitchen Steward: Washes dishes and pots, and kitchen maintenance. Food service sanitation experience is helpful but not required.
Host/Hostess: Meets and greets our restaurant patrons and guests. Assists restaurant servers. Assigns tables and completes host/hostess report for each shift.
Room Service: Serves beverages and meals to our hotel guests. Good training position for restaurant server.
Room Attendant: Cleans our guest rooms and keeps them spotless! Prior housekeeping experience is helpful but not required. Must be able to work at fast pace usually cleaning approximately 12 - 14 rooms per day.
