Who should apply with us: Working in any seasonal position is intense, by the nature of the short period of time that we have to work hard to make a living. The tourism season is Alaska is approximately 90 days. That means we have some days that are very busy and very long within that period. There will be days that make you realize you are working in the land of the "Midnight Sun"! This means that working in the tourism business in Alaska, especially in a remote location with fly-in guests, is hard work. There are times that it can be stressful and frustrating. Lodge positions require all employees to work and live in the same location, which offers it's own set of challenges. If you are considering employment with our company for the summer season, you must understand that we require 100% commitment from you to our guests. Also, your commitment is required to uphold the standards of work performance we desire to communicate to our guests. The utmost respect with your co-workers and within the lodge community is mandatory.
