Customer Contact Positions
Host/Hostess
Cordially greet all guests and have them seated and served as soon as possible, and process guest checks efficiently and accurately.
Food Server
Successfully sell and serve food and beverage to the food outlets guests, working for 100% guest satisfaction.
Bartender
Provide fast, efficient and reliable bar service to outlets guests and to Food Servers. Create a pleasant environment which encourages local patronage of the outlet.
Guest Services Representative
Check guests in and out of the hotel quickly and efficiently while asking for future reservations. Ensure 100% guest satisfaction in their stay while continuously promoting the property and the Westmark Hotels system. Take reservations on the phone or in person in a prompt, efficient and professional manner.
Bellperson
Assist guests with luggage, irons and ironing boards, towels, blankets or other requested items. Assist the catering staff by setting up meetings, receptions, luncheons and dinners. Drive hotel vehicle to and from airport as required, or conduct errands for hotel as requested. Assist front desk staff by answering telephones and helping with administrative duties. Keep lobby area clean and neat.
Support Positions
Cook
Obtain maximum profits from the use of food products while maintaining excellent food quality and achieving 100% guest satisfaction.
Dishwasher
Keep all dishes, pots and pans, and general clpean-up of the kitchen area clean and ready for use by the cooks and wait staff.
Room Attendant
Maintain a clean and sanitary environment in all guest rooms.
Houseperson
Distribution of clean laundry and linen to rooms. Assist with cleaning as requested by supervisor.
Laundry Room Attendant
Make sure that all linen and towel supplies are sanitized, folded and ready for Room Attendant use.
Custodian
Maintain cleanliness of the hotels facilities to ensure 100% guest satisfaction.
Chef
Obtain the maximum use of food products to obtain the maximum profits. Oversee the daily operation of the kitchen. Provide ongoing training of employees.
Administrative Positions:
Hotel Auditor
Post guest room charges to guest folios in an accurate manner. Audit and balance food and beverage sales daily. Balance daily revenue for room and food & beverage sales for the accountant. Maintain building security for the guests and hotel.
Hotel Controller
Create accurate financial reports on a timely basis. Manage Imprest checking account. Batch accounts payable to headquarters on a timely basis. Manage the CLS system.
