Seasonal Professional - Conservation Crew Leader
The Vermont Youth Conservation Corps is a non-profit youth, leadership, conservation, and education organization that promote the values of hard work, education, team work, and taking personal responsibility.
As a VYCC Crew Leader you are sure to have the experience of a life time! You and your co-leader will be leading a crew of 6-8 Corps Members to complete projects such as bridge construction, stone work, watershed restoration, and trail construction.
It will not be easy. Days will be long and you and your co-leader will have a roller coaster of experiences. However, in the end, leading a group of young people in the completion of a backcountry bridge, one mile trail reroute, or construction of urban rain gardens will be a rewarding experience unlike any other.

For Fun!
Being on a VYCC crew is the ultimate seasonal job with the ability to be outside all summer long! Crews are based throughout Vermont and some work and live in multiple locations throughout the session. Crews will be working on and near some of the best hiking trails in Vermont. Crews frequently explore Vermont’s many gems during the weekends for their recreational activities.
