General Information

 

Thank you for your genuine interest in a summer position at Tumbling River Ranch. We are a beautiful guest ranch in central Colorado--only 62 miles southwest of Denver. Our ranch is in the middle of the Pike National Forest, adjacent to the Mount Evans wilderness area. We are a second generation, family run ranch ready to start our 34th summer. The ranch is at 9200 feet, and is a first-class facility. We expect a lot of our staff, and in return you will have a truly memorable summer enjoying our 55 guests a week. Our staff is encouraged to enjoy the ranch and the activities we offer, fun things like riding, fishing, rafting, hiking, and enjoying the mountains (we are close to Denver, Boulder and Breckenridge, which makes for some great day-off trips). To be a successful staff member at Tumbling River, you should be prepared to serve guest first and foremost. Also, you should be prepared to work very hard and enjoy what you’re doing! If you think you might be a good fit, we are hiring for our 2008 summer in the following positions:

 

• Cooks Baker/Cook Life guard/nanny
• Housekeeping/Wait staff Office Staff
• Wranglers Maintenance Staff
• Nannies, 3-5 aged Counselors, 6-11 aged Counselors & Teen Counselors

Our staff is extremely important to the ranch and our guests. You have a tremendous opportunity to contribute to our guests' enjoyment, and to earn the respect and friendship of the guests and other staff. We only have one objective-to take care of our guests and to make sure that they have a perfect vacation. Our rules and guidelines have only one purpose- they will contribute to a good operation and will result in providing our guests with a great vacation. Above all, we ask that our staff keep a pleasant attitude and be constantly aware of helping our guests.
