Three Rivers Resort is an established family-owned resort celebrating its 30th year in business. The resort offers guest cabins and a variety of lodging options as its primary business. Additionally, there is an outfitting business on site offering rafting, fishing, and kayaking trips and instruction. The main building houses a general store, fly fishing shop and seasonal restaurant, Three Rivers Smokehouse. We are seeking a manager(s) with proven experience operating all aspects of a busy restaurant. The Smokehouse is open from 7 am to 9 pm daily from the week before Memorial Day through the 3rd weekend in September. Breakfast is served take-out style from the front counter while lunch and dinner are served with full table service. We are well known for our pulled pork, ribs and smoked chicken; all prepared in our on-site smoker. The outdoor bar area is covered and is a favorite "hangout" for many guests. On-site catering services are offered to guests who rent our facilities for parties, weddings, family reunions and other events. Off-site catering is optional.

                     

Our restaurant business fluctuates between the fast-paced meal times and the slower "in between" times. It can also be weather driven as most of the seating is outdoors and uncovered. In general, it is a profitable restaurant that caters especially to resort guests and rafting/fishing clients but we have also gained a decent local following in recent years. The working environment at Three Rivers Resort is casual, friendly, busy but very fun. Staff members become part of the Three Rivers family headed up by the owners who treat employees fairly and generously. We have 130+ employees in the summer months and they are some of our best restaurant customers. The Smokehouse also prepares lunches for fishing and kayaking clients and guides.

We believe in paying competitively and fairly. Salary will be based on experience. Candidates should have proven experience managing all areas of a full service restaurant. We also believe in paying for performance and we're willing to offer incentives.
