Lodging & Meals
Lodging and meals are provided for seasonal employees at a cost of $84.00 per week (plus applicable sales tax) which is deducted from each paycheck. This deduction helps cover the Company’s cost of furnishing employees with these facilities. Three meals are served each day. Seasonal employees will be assigned quarters to share with one or more roommates. Employees are responsible for personal conduct and cleanliness in assigned residences. The Company is not liable for loss of personal effects and we recommend that you not bring items of extreme value.

Trailer sites are available at a cost of $45.00 per week, which includes water, sewer and, electricity.

Services and Facilities
Physicians and medical facilities are available in Rapid City. Non-denominational church services are held on Sundays during the summer season. Additional services are held in surrounding communities.

Hours Worked & Compensation
Most seasonal employees will average 30 to 48 hours per week. However, actual hours worked each week may vary in early and late seasons, and may be affected by business fluctuations even in mid-season. During periods of slow business, hours worked may be reduced and employees may receive minimal paychecks.

In most cases, time over 48 hours a week is paid at one and one-half times the base rate. Employees may be assigned to work any day of the week. Shifts can start at any hour of the day and split shifts are possible. Salaried supervisors are expected to work as needed to complete their assigned jobs. In early and late seasons, this involves a six-day week.
