Ranch RESIDENT ADVISOR Needed

Live and work on a guest ranch in Colorado! 

About Us:

Rocky Mountain Pathways Ranch is a guest ranch near Estes Park, CO.  We are currently looking for Resident Advisors to live on the property and provide support to the high school students that attend our various programs on the ranch.  RAs participate in different physical, emotional and social activities with the students and oversee bunks at night.  Ideal candidates will be outgoing, energetic, and as passionate for the great outdoors as they are for doing great work.  Food and lodging is provided.  Full term for an RA is 8 months, opening immediately.

Sleep and Eat:

Staff accommodation is mostly communal (shared rooms) with staff  housed 2 persons to a room with beds, furniture, linens, pillows and blankets. Staff meals are provided 3 times per day and is the same quality of food as our guests experience. There is a staff dining area and snacks/beverages are available at all times.

Qualifications:

• Professional, mature and experienced working with a wide range of populations (experience with both youth and adult clients)

• Minimum BA or BS

• Prefer substitute credential, certified first aid and wilderness responders

• Strong soft skills related to facilitating to the goals of the client, capturing relevant teachable moments, de-briefing or processing experiences for quality transfer of learning
