About Us:
Rocky Mountain Pathways Ranch is a guest ranch near Estes Park, CO. The ranch runs programs for high school students who are looking to gain experience in the great outdoors. We are currently looking for a Barn Wrangler whose main responsibilities will be to assist the Barn Manager with taking care of barn animals and keeping the barn clean. Ideal candidates will be outgoing, energetic, and as passionate for the great outdoors as they are for doing great work. Food and lodging is provided. Description:
Feed barn animals
Keep barn clean
Groom horses
Lead guest rides
Assist with every aspect of barn animal care
Support students in experiential learning activities and create a safe environment for them.
Qualifications:
Good horsemanship skills
Strong communication skills
Professional, mature and experienced working with a wide range of populations (experience with both youth and adult clients)
Ability to accept guidance and supervision
Have great people skills
Be at least 18 years of age
Must be able to lift 60-80 lbs
Preferred 2 years of experience working on a farm/ranch
Bachelor's degree preferred
Compensation:
$275/ week plus room and board.
