Are you a person that loves Adventure and the Outdoors?

If you are person that loves to Work and Play in the Outdoors then come join the River Expeditions' team and become a Whitewater guide. As a Trainee you will have access to FREE housing while participating in the program. This housing will include a shower house and a camping area. You must provide your own camping gear and tent.

This program will consist of a two week core whitewater guide training. This core training will include (but not limited to): guide training every day (rain or shine), reading water and terminology, First aid and Professional Cpr certification, customer service training, history and involvement with the local DNR park service personnel and much more.

Your training may extend to more time and days on the water due to your level of achievement. There are state requirements that have to be met in order for the trainee to be checked out as a Whitewater Guide on the New River.  

A training fee of $300.00 is due upon the first day of training. At the completetion of the training program and employment of the individual, half the training fee will be refunded.

Guide training will begin May 20, 2013. If you are available for weekends or days prior to the training start date please contact us and you could possibly start earlier.
