Projects Abroad

By volunteering or interning abroad with Projects Abroad, you will be given great opportunity to put your time into a meaningful and rewarding volunteer or internship program. We offer a wide range of opportunities and regions to suit your interests, and with more than 500 trained staff and hundreds of project types, we are one of the largest international volunteer and internship organizations in the world.

Our volunteers are all ages – from students and graduates to professionals and families. It is thanks to these over eight thousand volunteers and interns who work in a developing country every year that we are able to offer such great opportunities. Our primary responsibility is to our participants and we take this very seriously.

If you're in the 16 to 19 age group and in full-time education, you can join us on our short programs designed for you. You will be with a small group of fellow students. With a mixture of taught sessions, hands-on and observational work, as well as evening activities and weekend excursions, this is a perfect way to have some fun while contributing massively to your resume or college applications!
