Summer Jobs on Lake Champlain

For over 150 years the lakefront property which is now The Tyler Place has been a summer tradition for families. Four generations of our family have come here to camp, pick blackberries, build tree houses, fish, sunbathe, canoe, swim & play volleyball. Over the years we've grown a bit more sophisticated, but we've tried and succeeded to maintain for our guests this essence of summer - and our hard-working, energetic staff is a HUGE reason why guests keep returning year after year.

Tyler Place Family Resort
Our employees’ enthusiasm and genuine love of The Tyler Place are two factors that contribute to that special spirit of the place, and both you and our guests will find it hard to say goodbye to each other.

We're open from May 20 to September 6. All International staff must be able to be here for those dates. Staff from the USA and Canada need to be here on May 20, but can leave in August, if necessary.

Recreation

You have the use of our facilities on a guest-first basis including canoes, kayaks, fishing boats, fitness center, basketball, volleyball, swimming pools, tennis; the chance to socialize and participate in activities with our guests (which has led to career opportunities for many of our former staff).

Room and Board

Housing options: Cabin and Dorms

Housing is free along with three meals a day. Housing is provided only for those staff who have completed at least 2 years of college. If someone lives nearby and doesn't require housing, it doesn't matter how old they are or how much, if any, college they've completed.

Staff live in summer cottages and dorms with shared bathrooms. Most rooms are doubles. All meals are served at the Inn, so most of the living quarters do not have kitchen facilities (however, all have a refrigerator and microwave).

Benefits

40 hour work weeks plus opportunities for extra pay; end-of-season bonus; a great job to add to your resume; a chance to live and work with students from all over the world; and most importantly, friendships with guests and staff that last a lifetime!
