Welcome to Tumbling River Ranch, one of the finest guest ranches in the Colorado Rockies. We are a second generation, family run Colorado dude ranch. Working and playing in the Colorado Rockies is a great way to spend the summer. As a hospitality business, we rely on strong, consistent customer service. We are seeking employees who are warm, out-going, mature, friendly, helpful and cheerful.
We work very hard to make our staff feel at home and valued. We make it a priority to have fun, enjoy what we do and make the experience valuable for both our guests and staff. We have a variety of seasonal and a few year-round positions. These positions include: cooks, bakers, wranglers, fishing guides, housekeepers, kids counselors, office staff, wait staff, drivers, ranch hands, and dish washers.

Our staff is extremely important to the ranch and our guests. Our staff are much more important than the scenery, the facility, the horses, or any of the ranch attractions. This job can be the most rewarding job you’ll ever have.
Rooms vary from dorm style to ranch cabins. Employees in rooms will only have one other roommate; cabins have 4-6 roommates in a large space. A nominal fee is deducted for room and board. Bed linens, pillows, and towels are provided. Storage space is very limited, so please pack appropriately. We will supply a suggested gear list to new employees.
The ranch compensation package includes an hourly wage, overtime wage and an equal share in the tip pool, as all positions are of equal importance.
The Denver International Airport (DIA), located an hour and 45 minutes from the ranch. All major airlines fly into DIA. We will be happy to pick you up from the airport, but please be aware that there is no public transportation in our area. If staff members choose not to bring a vehicle, we do not have a vehicle available for staff members to use.

For those employees who need a little “city life,” we are at the perfect location. Only an hour from Breckenridge, an hour & ½ to Buena Vista, 2 hours (via Independence Pass) to Aspen, 40 minutes to the amazing Red Rocks amphitheater and just an hour & ½ to downtown Denver.
