Located within Denali State Park, the Mt McKinley Princess Wilderness Lodge offers employees the best of both worlds in terms of Alaskan employment. Its wilderness location allows employees to escape to the Last Frontier for touring, hiking, and fishing. The lodge’s 350 employees also offer ample opportunity to meet new people. And the free transportation options make it easy to “go to town” when you find yourself missing civilization. Upon a successful completion of the terms of the employment agreement, an attractive discounted travel program may be available including cruises with Princess Cruises worldwide. Discounts are available on tours offered at the Tour Desk during the summer and on lodge stays at other Princess Lodges.

For Fun

Employees spend their off time taking discounted tours, going fishing with friends, or hiking and kayking at Byers Lake. Looking for a brief return to civilization, the lodge offers free shuttles to the rustic Alaskan town of Talkeetna every day. Want to see the latest summer blockbuster? Twice weekly the lodge offers free shuttles to Anchorage. Staff organizes activities on property as well. Employees can hit homeruns on our softball field, and celebrate the holidays with our annual 4th of July Parade and Christmas in August celebration.

Sleep and Eat

Employee housing is a 5 minute walk from the main lodge.  All rooms are non-smoking and pet free environments.  The housing is dormitory living - typically shared rooms with own bathrooms.  Meals are included and served in the Employee Dining Room at the Lodge.  RV sites available.

Getting Here and Getting Around

If needed, air transportation arrangements to Anchorage may be arranged through Princess Tours. Princess offers a repayment program that will allow you to repay the cost of your ticket with your earned wages, once on site. Once in Anchorage, you will be picked up by a shuttle from Mt.
