Transportation Info

Pine Point Lodge is 4 hours north of Minneapolis/St. Paul and 1 ½ hours from the nearest airports located in either Hibbing or International Falls, MN. Please feel free to contact us about transportation needs.

Even though we're somewhat remote, we're easily accessible. The end of the road is about 1 mile by boat. The nearest town, population 350, is ½ hour, one-way, by car. The nearest shopping mall would be 1 ½ hours, one way, by car. Our location has access, by boat, into Voyageur’s National Park, the Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness and Canada’s Quetico Provincial Park. Guests come from all over the world to enjoy our peaceful location. They come to fish, hunt, swim, relax, hike, canoe, boat, to see historic sights, and explore the many miles of shoreline, rivers, and lakes. Before the guests arrive in middle of May, we begin training and getting staff familiarized with our Resort operations, cleaning, prepping boats and motors, lawn maintenance, and finishing projects After they leave, in the beginning of October, we are busy shutting down the cottages, and preparing the boats and other things for winter.
