Hike, Camp, Live, and Serve in Montana and its connected ecosystems.

Montana is filled with opportunities to explore wild and rugged landscapes. Picture yourself building trails, planting trees in a national park, and giving back to your community.  Your home is a tent for much of the time and meals are shared around camp with fellow crew members. The greatest rewards – and challenges – come from learning how to work as a team with people different from you.

Our mission is to equip young people with the skills and values to be engaged citizens who improve their communities and environment. There is no better backdrop for this type of learning experience and personal development than the wilds of Montana, including: 15 million acres throughout 9 National Forests, 3.5 million acres throughout 16 Wilderness Areas, and Glacier and Yellowstone National Parks.

Join AmeriCorps and become a National Service participant to give back to Montana’s communities and natural lands. You’ll take away a lifetime of memories, career skills, lasting friendships, and the tools to make a difference in your world.
