Summer Jobs at Flaming Gorge National Recreation Area

Flaming Gorge National Recreation Area (NRA) is truly a unique and prestigious year round destination area. Lucerne Valley Marina enjoys one third of the yearly visitation to Flaming Gorge NRA. We are internationally famous for trophy fishing, unparalleled scenic canyons and abundant wildlife.

Live and work with us at this beautiful spot. We are looking for Dock Hand / Store Clerks to work from mid-May through mid-September.

Recreation

Employees get free fishing boat rentals, 20% discount at the store & marina, Housing with water, sewer, & garbage is provided as well as Dish TV basic. Wireless internet is intermittent but there is a local provider who will install a dish for internet. Fishing is great on the water and at the shorelines as well as exploring the mountains which are within a 10-15 mile drive from us.

Room and Board

Housing options: RV Spaces and Trailer or Modular

We offer furnished single-wide trailers for housing and at this time only provide it to single people without kids. Housing is free with water, sewer & garbage but employees are responsible for part of their electricity and propane. We offer a 20% discount for employees at the store.

Pets are okay if employee has an RV and they are kept on a leash at all times (FS Rules). We do not allow pets in the housing we provide for seasonal staff.

Benefits

Pay is negotiable depending on experience. We provide the basic dish network package in each home. Best benefit we have is working around the water and the customers that have been coming here for years. It is a family environment and not a big corporation. Pay raises are given to those that have a great work ethic and are responsible.

Transportation Info

Most people bring their own cars/RV’s to get here but we will pick up employees at the bus station in Rock Springs or the airport there as well.
