Stay, play, (work) and eat organically grown foods at Jo's Motel near Crater Lake!

Full-time summer and year-round employees sought for Jo's Motel, an ecologically-minded mini-resort by Crater Lake, Oregon. We are located in the beautiful Wood River Valley, just south of the National Park on State Hwy 62. We are currently in the process of growing from a mom & pop establishment to a small business employing 7 people (plus owners) during the summer and 2 or more all year.

Our 3-acre resort consists of six suites and cabins with full kitchens; a small RV park with bathhouse; walk-in camping and recreation on the Wood River; and a small, full-service grocery store and deli offering almost entirely organically grown foods.

Types of Jobs - housekeeping/laundry, grocery/deli, grounds. We prefer all employees to perform all tasks (housekeeping 2 days, store 2 days, grounds 1 day/week).

For Fun

Hiking and backpacking Pacific Crest Trail/Sky Lakes Wilderness (Oregon Cascades); river on border for swimming (42 degrees!); lakes; birding; bicycling; canoeing; fishing; desert petroglyphs; lots more.

Sleep and Eat

We have six suites and cabins with full kitchens for singles or RV site for couple (nice looking rigs only, please). There is a $40/person/week charge for housing (includes utilities, paper goods & weekly housekeeping). The charge will be returned at end of season to those who complete their time commitments.

Getting Here and Getting Around

Will pick up from Klamath Falls airport, Medford airport, or Klamath Falls Amtrak station. No local transport available - bicycles encouraged.
