If you would like to spend your summer getting paid to work outside in the sun & surf (and who wouldn't??), here's your chance to apply for a job at Grog's!

We are open from mid May through September, and we're looking for folks with positive attitudes and great people skills. You'll work hard in a fun atmosphere, and on your days off you'll have the Atlantic Ocean and the Currituck Sound as your playground.

Room and Board

Housing options: Shared House

Housing is scarce here on the Outer Banks, so we have rental housing that we make available to all Grog's summer employees. The housing is a shared house and rent will be $500/mo. and it includes room, utilities & internet connection.

Benefits

Working outdoors, learning to sail, waterski, living at the beach.

Pay is $8/hr, and you can expect to work between 40-50 hours per week. We pay time and a half for anything over 40 hrs. per week. We pay every 2 weeks. There is an end of season performance bonus based on merit. The bonus can be up to $500.

Transportation Info

If you're flying here, there’s a shuttle service from Norfolk Airport (ORF) to the Outer Banks. For those driving, we will meet up once you get here, and I'll show you to the house. If you don't have a car, don't worry. Since everyone lives in the same house, people carpool to work, so there’s always someone to get a ride with.
