Camp 4 Echoes is our resident Girl Scout camp; we are hiring for all summer camp positions! We need lifeguards, camp counselors, kitchen staff, a camp nurse and more!

Our camp season runs from June 13th – August 21st.

Men and women 18 years and older are encouraged to apply.

Internships are available.

Support Staff

• Assistant Staff Director: Salary: $2300.00 Assist Camp Director in camp preparation and staff training utilizing successful experiences in administration and leadership. Supervise unit staff. Be responsible for camp in absence of Camp Director. Qualifications: Experience in organized camping and outdoor program development, experience in staff supervision, excellent communication skills, and knowledge of Girl Scout Program. 21 years or older preferred.

• Assistant Program Director: Salary: $2300.00 Assist Camp Director in camp preparation and staff training. Oversee unit activities and all camp programs. Qualifications: Strong leadership skills with successful experiences in developing and implementing specialty outdoor programs and knowledge of Girl Scout Program. Outdoor activity certifications beneficial. 21 years or older preferred.

• Business Manager: Salary: $1900.00 Operate the Trading Post including; accurate inventories, receipting money, making sales to campers and staff, and preparing deposits. Oversee camp budget and kitchen ordering. Qualifications: Experience in bookkeeping, budget management, sales, and computers. Valid drivers license. 21 years or older preferred.

• Arts & Crafts Specialist: Salary: $1250.00 Responsible for planning and implementation of program, organize and maintain supplies and equipment. Qualifications: Creative and crafty personality. 18 years or older preferred.

Unit Staff

• Unit Leader: Salary: $1500.00 Coordinate unit program activities, reports and record keeping. Provide campers with a positive, fun learning experience. Qualifications: Supervisory experience and Girl Scout program knowledge desired. Experience working with children, canoeing, sailing and/or windsurfing experience/certification beneficial. 21 years or older preferred.

Recreation

Waterfront Staff

• Waterfront Director/Lifeguard: Salary: $1800.00 Supervision of all waterfront activities. Qualifications: Current Lifeguard certification. Supervisory experience in a lakefront environment, experience in boating, canoeing, windsurfing and/or sailing desired. 21 years or older preferred.

• Lifeguard/Waterfront Assistant: Salary: $1250.00 Assist with the overall implementation of waterfront activities including swimming, canoeing, sailing and windsurfing. Qualifications: Current Lifeguard certification. Canoeing, Sailing and/or Windsurfing experience desired. 18 years or older.

Kitchen Staff

• Head Cook: Salary $2100.00 Responsible for all aspects of food service including planning, purchasing, and preparation. Supervises other kitchen personnel. Qualifications: Experience in large quantity cooking, purchasing, and in food service staff supervision. 21 years or older preferred.

• Assistant Cook: Salary $1500.00 Assists with meal preparation and other kitchen activities. Qualifications: Food service experience. 21 years or older preferred.

• Kitchen Aide: Salary: $1100.00 Assist with meals, dishwashing, cleaning and packouts. Qualifications: Desire to learn about food service. 16 years or older.

Health Care

• Health Supervisor/Camp Nurse: Salary $2100.00 Responsible for all aspects of the health care facility including health screening of staff and campers, disbursement and logging of all medications and treatments, stocking unit first aid kits. Qualifications: Licensed RN, LPN or EMT. Must have valid driver’s license. 21 years or older preferred.

Evidence of satisfactory physical condition, verified by a licensed physician is required. Physical exam cards are provided. Background checks will be conducted on all staff.
