The Evergreen Lodge is a newly expanded historical lodge and resort bordering Yosemite National Park. We are always looking for great managers and staff to join our team.

The Evergreen is a classic mountain resort featuring

• 90 cabins nestled in a forest of towering pines, cedars and magnificent oaks
• indoor/outdoor dining and an historic tavern
• gift shop & general store
• nightly activities, and
• full service guided recreation department.

With its major expansion, remodeling completed in 2004 and an additional expansion this year, the Evergreen now provides the best all-around lodging and recreational facilities in the Yosemite area while retaining its original warmth, character and personal touch.

While we have high expectations of staff, successful staff members love working at the Lodge and don't want to leave.

The Evergreen provides great career opportunities for talented staff and managers. Since the lodge has a significant recreational focus, we seek staff and managers who are excited about the outdoors and lead a healthy, active lifestyle.

In addition to its primary function as a tourist resort, the Evergreen runs an employment program in which urban young adults ages 18-24 join our staff for a program of career-oriented training and work experience coupled with exposure to a rich set of outdoor and recreational life experiences. With this in mind, we look to hire experienced staff who are excited to support and serve as role models for those in our program.

Yosemite is one of the most spectacular places on earth, and is a recreation-lover's paradise. It offers the country’s highest waterfalls and largest granite walls, along with stunning scenery and a diverse set of activities, elevations and topographies. From hair raising vistas to serene meadows, Yosemite also has many different moods. Perhaps, more impressive is the diversity and changes one experiences from month to month throughout the year. Yosemite truly presents a different face each season.

Sleep and Eat

Most staff at the Evergreen live on-site in employee housing. Room & Board (including rent, utilities, staff meals, laundry, Internet access, satellite TV, free phones and more) is provided for a fixed weekly fee. Evergreen staff members also receive employee discounts in the restaurant and general store.

Other Perks

Management staff receive full medical and dental benefits. Later this year, the Evergreen plans to become one of the first resorts of its size to offer medical and dental benefits for year-round hourly staff as well.

Getting Here and Getting Around

Evergreen Lodge is not served by any convenient public transportation. Managers will assist in arranging transportation to the lodge for arriving staff if you do not have a car.
