
Deer Valley Resort is located in Park City, Utah, just over thirty miles from Salt Lake City. Park City is an exciting and diverse mountain ski town. Deer Valley was named the the #1ski resort in North America by readers of SKI magazine an impressive three years in a row – in 2008, 2009 and again in 2010. Remarkably, in the past seven years our rating hasn't dipped lower than third. Since opeining in 1981, we have been committed to providing a level of care rarely found at a ski resort; delivering classic, consistent and quality service both on and off the mountain.
When you decide to become a part of the Deer Valley team, we suggest you make finding housing a top priority.
Deer Valley offers a limited number of dorm style employee housing rooms for our first year, full-time employees. Rooms are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Housing facilities are located less then two miles from the resort and are on the Park City free bus route.
Deer Valley also offers additional housing that is located about 16 miles south of Park City at the Rivers Edge Resort at Deer Park in Heber. The 200 dorm style cabins are available during the winter season for both new and returning staff.
Park City and neighboring towns provide a variety of housing alternatives. If you do not have your own transportation, be sure to look for housing that is on the free Park City bus route.

LOCAL TRANSPORTATION
Free city/county bus transportation is available for those living in the Park City area (including our employee housing residents). For more information, please visit parkcity.org.
EMPLOYEE BUS
For those living in Salt Lake City, Provo/Orem or Heber City, we offer a free Deer Valley employee shuttle bus. This service operates during our ski season for daytime shifts only. For more information please call 800-475-4562.
TRANSPORTATION FROM THE AIRPORT Deer Valley Resort is located 36 miles from the Salt Lake City International Airport. Please note that there is no regularly scheduled public transportation between Salt Lake City and Park City. There are taxi and shuttle services available including: Park City Transportation and All Resort Express. Reservations are recommended, but these shuttle services will also accept walk-ups at their counters, adjacent to the baggage claim in the Salt Lake City International Airport.
Park City, Utah, is a small town with big opportunities for fun. Park City is home to over 100 restaurants and bars, theaters, art and cultural events, health clubs and spas, outlet stores, the Utah Olypic Park and over 8800 acres of skiable terrain. Winter recreational activities include skating, snowmobiling, snowshoeing, cross country skiing, tubing, film festivals and Wold Cup events, just to name a few.
