While on crew, employees will camp in tents provided to them by CCYC. There is a $5 per day charge for food while in the field.

All Weekly Stipends include room, board and transportation.
AmeriCorps Education Awards are available for applicants (Crew Leaders and Crew Members) on the fall crews.
CCYC provides transportation up to two hours away from Monticello, Utah both to and from base camp and worksites. Exceptions may be made for special cases.

CCYC is based out of Monticello, Utah at the foot of the Abajo Mountains and ideally located in the highest concentration of national parks in the nation. Surrounding parks include Arches National Park, Canyonlands National Park, Natural Bridges National Park, Capital Reef National Park, Manti La Sal National Forest, Mesa Verde National Park, Zion National Park, and Bryce Canyon National Park. In addition to these parks is a plethora of national monuments including the world famous Monument Valley. Surrounding rivers include the Green, Colorado, and San Juan Rivers.
