Character-Building Summer Experience

Camp Fiver is a character-building residential summer camp serving children from underserved communities throughout New York City.

alt text Located in beautiful upstate New York, Camp Fiver’s 129-acre refuge includes a lake, a river, and woodlands, athletic fields, tennis courts, a learning center, health center, pavilion, horse barn, and swimming pool—all framed by rolling hills. Through our unique character development program, Fiver teaches campers to be a Friend, an Individual, a Valuable Team Player, an Environmentalist and a Risk Taker. We are looking for outstanding role models to inspire and mentor our children!

Camp Fiver is the summer component of the Fiver Children's Foundation, a comprehensive youth development organization that provides each participant with 10 years of summer camp and year-round support programs.

“In 15 years of camping I have literally never seen a more conducive camping environment. The campers and staff have created a magical family that beams with spirit and compassion.” - 2006 ACA accreditation visitor

“In the 30+ years that I've been involved with summer camp staff training, I have never experienced a more culturally diverse and expertly intentional summer camp staff than the one I witnessed at Camp Fiver in 2006.” - Staff Training Expert, Jim Cain

“Just because you have a campsite, counselors and campers doesn’t mean that you have a camp. A true camp is one in which everyone can work together to help one another achieve their personal goals. Camp Fiver is not only a true camp; it is also a family.” - 7th Year Fiver Camper
