With a five month season long days and hard work is the norm but employees enjoy at least one day off a week that allows them to get out and enjoy the area or get the laundry done.

Recreation

There are lots of off hours recreational opportunities available in the town of Ketchikan. Hiking the many back country trails, biking the logging roads or enjoying a day on the water. Employees are allowed to use the company boats in their off time, if they are available.

Since we are located in town we do not provide company housing. However we will help you locate suitable housing for the summer, if you want or need the help. Apartments usually rent for $500 to $950 a month depending on the size and location.

Benefits

Employee pay is dependent upon the position being pursued. Employees should have enough money upon arrival to meet individual needs until the first pay check.

Transportation Info

Ketchikan is a quick 1.5 hour flight north of Seattle on Alaska Airlines. If you chose to drive the Alaska Marine Highway has terminals in Bellingham Washington and Prince Rupert British Columbia. If you drive make sure you have a passport to enter Canada. From Bellingham the ride is 36 hours and from Prince Rupert the ferry takes 6 hours. Let us know when you will be arriving and we will meet you and orient you to town before taking you to your housing.
