Togwotee Mountain Lodge (TML) is a year-round resort located in the Bridger-Teton National Forest.
AS OF OCTOBER 15, 2009 WE ARE CURRENTLY ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS FOR THE FOLLOWING POSITIONS
In the summer season (June-Sept.) we take advantage of the warmer weather with all types of outdoor activities. TML provides horseback riding onsite, ranging from one hour to full day beginner rides. Working with vendors in the Jackson Hole valley TML also books fishing, hiking, mountain biking, whitewater rafting, float trips, and covered wagon cookouts. Hiking opportunities are endless in this region with the Bridger Teton National Forest and Wind River Mountains out our front door, the Teton Wilderness out our back door, Grand Teton National Park located 15 minutes west and Yellowstone about 45 minutes from our location.
In the winter season (Dec.-April) we offer extensive snowmobiling, including extreme riding in the 2.5 million acres of land surrounding us with over 600 miles of groomed trails. We also provide Snow Cat Skiing, Dog sledding, and Yellowstone Snowmobile or Snow Coach trips. Several employees bring equipment to enjoy snowshoeing, cross-country skiing, and snowboarding in the National Forest.
Between our seasons—April/May & Oct/Nov - we continue to employ a few housekeepers, maintenance and our management staff.
At Togwotee we offer housing and meals for all our staff for a cost of $12 a day. This includes three meals a day in our Staff Dining Room and dorm style living. Please also visit our Living at Togwotee pages for more information.
Employees and out-of-town visitors receive a 30% discount on meals in both the restaurant and saloon. You’ll also receive 30% off all gift shop items that display a Togwotee logo. All other gift shop items are 20% off. Convenience store items are 20% off except for alcohol and tobacco. Discounts on gas are 3 cents above cost per gallon but not when paying at the pump. Some activities like horseback, cookouts, whitewater, and float trips are completely free of charge for at least one trip. Employees and out-of-town visitors also receive deep discounts on lodging at certain times. Please see the Front Office Manager or the Rooms Division Director for these times when cabins are $50.00 per night and lodge rooms are $30.00 per night.
A monetary bonus incentive program rewards all staff that exemplifies the Togwotee standards. Everyone is eligible for the bonus that completes the season or employment agreement date. Those who quit or are terminated are not eligible, and their portion will be allotted to the remaining staff. Your bonus is dependant on your performance throughout the season, length of employment, and managerial discretion.
TML staff also receives discounts on gas at our gas station, as well as in our gift shop. In the winter snowmobile rentals are discounted and a ski pass is available for the three ski resorts in Jackson Hole. In the summer many activity vendors offer complimentary trips to our employees.

Year-round employees can choose to sign up for health benefits and 401K investments. A waiting period is required for the benefits and will be covered in more detail during the hiring process. One week of paid vacation is granted after the first year and two weeks after the second year of employment.
TML will provide transportation from the town of Jackson or the Jackson Hole Airport to Togwotee Mountain Lodge to begin the season and at the completion of employment. We do not provide assistance in getting to Jackson Hole.
