Rafting Jobs in Colorado

AAE is one of the largest whitewater rafting companies in the Arkansas River Valley as well as one of the largest outfitters in the state of Colorado. We employ approximately 4 year round positions at our company and 50 summer seasonal staff. At American Adventure Expeditions we pride ourselves on professionalism and excellent customer service that is surpassed by no one. It is our goal to provide the best guides with the best equipment and to always go the extra mile to make sure we take care of all of our customers' needs.

We are always looking for quality individuals to join our staff. Whether you have years of guiding experience or this is your first attempt at becoming an outdoor professional, we have a position for you.

Recreation

From family fun to white-knuckled adventure, the Arkansas River Valley has any and everything you could ask for. Encompassing three counties (Chaffee, Fremont, and Lake), the Ark Valley is considered by many to be the capital of whitewater rafting in North America. However, the area is also popular for backpacking, hiking, rock climbing, ATV’s, bicycling, horseback riding, soaking in the hot springs or just relaxing and enjoying the scenery.

There are plenty of housing options ranging from free camping to renting apartments. We can point applicants in the right direction.

Transportation Info

When we're not on the river you can find us at our office in Buena Vista, Colorado. We also have an office right outside of Canon City, Colorado.
