OUR COMMITMENT to our Stillpoint guests is to provide a quiet setting where you can bask in the beauty of nature, architecture, artistically-prepared meals and our colorful gardens.

We are looking for employees who are eager to work together as a team to provide an ideal nurturing environment to fulfill our mission:
“To provide and maintain a peaceful place for guests to re-connect with themselves, nature and a source beyond themselves”.
Employees that work at Stillpoint are creative, spiritual, energetic, and outgoing individuals with a personal and proven commitment to excellent guest service. Our team management approach provides an informal relaxed atmosphere for employees including hiking, kayaking, wildlife viewing, camping, climbing, fishing and meditation.
At the same time, we expect a commitment to hard work and for all employees to help create and maintain a positive environment for our guests. Working at Stillpoint can be fun, rewarding, exciting and demanding. Unlike larger resorts, the team works together. Although some will specialize in certain jobs, most will be expected to clean cabins, garden and help in the kitchen. Our season runs from May 13 through October 7. Those who remain for the duration of the season will receive a $1000 bonus.
You will do well here if:
Halibut Cove has no roads and is surrounded by water. The closest town is Homer, a ferry ride away. However, those who enjoy nature, reading, painting, photography and outdoor enthusiasts who love to hike and kayak will be delighted by this setting of great natural beauty, especially during the very long daylight hours of our Alaskan summers. Our quiet atmosphere is not conducive to those who prefer night life and parties.
Housing will be provided and some meals. The employee cabins are newly constructed and the employee lounge has a kitchen, bath, TV, and computer. Congeniality is important in this setting, due to the four to five employees who will be living and working closely together for many hours a day.
The rate of pay will vary depending on the job and experience. A bonus of $1000 will be given if an employee remains to the end of the season (October 4).
Stillpoint in Halibut Cove is located across Kachemak Bay from Homer, Alaska. Homer is literally at the end of road south of Anchorage on the Kenai Peninsula. A scenic ride on the historic Danny J. Ferry will bring you to our deluxe wilderness lodge, STILLPOINT IN HALIBUT COVE.
