Peaceful Valley Dude Ranch and Conference Center is one of the world’s most beautiful resort destinations, and one of Colorado’s oldest and largest guest ranches. Nestled in the Rocky Mountains, it's a land of rushing rivers, 13,000 foot peaks, and some of the most spectacular scenery anywhere on earth.

As a year-round resort, we serve and entertain a wide variety of guests. Many of our guests include families visiting for a dude ranch vacation in the summer, couples celebrating a wedding with their family and friends, and conference groups getting down to business or working on teambuilding exercises.

Summer and fall activities for our guests include horseback riding, hiking, swimming, fishing, outdoor barbecues, line dancing, campfires, and wagon rides. HEAD OF BARN – Peaceful Valley Ranch is hiring to fill the position that will direct our barn operations for the 2013 season. We’re interested in a well rounded individual; highly knowledgeable in all aspects of equine management, able to supervise up to 10 wranglers and possess the vision and drive to provide our guests with positive, memorable experiences. ACTIVITIES TEAM MEMBER – Peaceful Valley Ranch is seeking to fill the position responsible for guest activities at our guest ranch. The job requires flexible hours, strong interpersonal skills, imagination, a desire to show guests an enjoyable time and a love for the outdoors. A few of the activities you’ll facilitate with our guests are: swimming, rock wall climbing, fishing, hiking and crafts. A willingness to work with a small team to make big things happen is critical. MAINTENANCE TEAM MEMBER - Maintenance employees are expected to have a basic working knowledge of electrical, plumbing, mechanical, carpentry, and auto maintenance. It is also expected to be familiar with construction and remodel work. Employees must be responsive to direction, learn new tasks quickly, have customer service skills, and work as part of a team, along with being a self-starter and have the ability to work independently. SERVICE TEAM MEMBER - Service Team employees are required to know and be able to perform job duties in both Waitstaff and Housekeeping departments. Team members must have the ability to lift and carry heavy loads, stand for prolonged periods of time, and work as part of a team to accomplish daily tasks. Fill out an application on our website.

OFFICE TEAM MEMBER - Office employees are to have a basic knowledge of computers, phones and Microsoft Office programs. Employees must be polite and social with our guests, whether it is on the phone or in person. We are looking for outgoing and ambitious personalities who like to interact with the public and be able to help out where needed to help make all of our guests stay enjoyable and memorable. Employee housing is provided. Free wireless internet is available in staff quarters for those with their own computer. Laundry facilities and three all-you-can-eat meals are also provided.

Getting Here and Getting Around

Peaceful Valley Ranch is located about 30 minutes from Estes Park and also Lyons Colorado. The closest large airport is Denver International which is a little over an hour away. This is a remote location with no shopping, eateries, or movie theatres closer than 30 minutes. Most staff find it very convenient to have their own personal vehicle to take off the mountain on their days off and to see some of the gorgeous local surroundings.

For Fun

Staff are encouraged to participate in guest activities. Whether this is roasting s’mores by the campfire, throwing horse shoes, or competing in a Chili Cook-Off we want you there. Also, staff can enjoy the weight room, pool, hot tub, trout pond, and horseback riding, TV lounge, and a whole host of other activities that are on or near the ranch.
