Wages are based on a time clock 40 hour work week; anything over 40 hours is considered overtime and paid at one and half times your hourly wage. This year we are offering a healthy bonus if you stay through your hiring contract date.

If you are looking for a true western summer job in the mountains of Wyoming, and are motivated with a strong dedication to honesty, integrity, consideration and customer service, we would be very interested in hiring you for our summer season, mid-May through mid-October.

Room and Board

Our housing is dormitory style and non-smoking.  Most likely you will have one or two same sex roommates. Married couples, managers and supervisors will have private rooms with private bathrooms. Employee Perks

You will be living in one of the most unique locations in the world.
Pahaska's Old Lodge is Buffalo Bill's 1904 "Gem of the Rockies", built in
the heart of our nation's first National Forest, next to our nation's first
National Park, and on both sides are America's two largest wilderness areas
in the lower 48 states! This part of the Rocky Mountain West is full of the
history of Jim Bridger, John Colter and the like.  The best part is that we
try to give you 2 days off in a row so you can take advantage of this great
country. We also have an employee TV and rec room, limited satellite
internet access but no cellular phone service.

Getting Here and Getting Around

You are responsible for getting to Cody, Wyoming.  From there, if you don't
have your own transportation let us know and we will pick you up in Cody.
Cody (COD) has a small airport accessible from Salt Lake City, UT (SLC) via
Delta or from Denver (DEN) via United.

If you are driving, take highway 14-16-20 west from Cody for an incredibly
scenic one hour trip through the spectacular Wapiti Valley.  If you are
planning on driving through Yellowstone, be aware that the East Entrance is
open 24 hours a day, but does not open until May 6th and the South Entrance
will not open until May 13th.

For Fun

Blue ribbon trout fishing and miles of hiking trails are right at your
doorstep. Take a trail ride just kick back and enjoy the scenery. For
photography enthusiasts, the opportunities are endless.  Mountains, wildlife
and Yellowstone National Park are right out the window.   In Cody there are
the 5 museums of the Buffalo Bill Center of the West, the Cody Nite Rodeo,
river floats, Old Trail Town and a full slate summer events scheduled for
2016.
