Pahaska Tepee and the Yellowstone Park region are the ideal choice for the summer job experience of a Lifetime.  We are a modern resort located just outside the East Entrance of Yellowstone Park, one hour (48 miles) west of the nearest town Cody, Wyoming.  

Pahaska is abounding with snowcapped peaks, forest, clear mountain streams, and abundant wildlife.  Owned and operated by the Coe family since 1946 on the Shoshone National Forest, Pahaska was founded by Buffalo Bill “at the prettiest spot in the valley” in 1904.  Bob and Angela Coe and the other Pahaska employees would like to invite you to submit your application to become a Pahaska Tepee crew member for the summer of 2013.

We are looking for a LINE COOK with hands on experience with breakfast, lunch and dinner to work under the supervision of our chef.  This position involves sharing the line duties with one other person as well as working solo.  Food presentation, cleanliness, hygiene and safe food handling are of utmost importance.  This position includes on the line cooking, daily prep work and cleaning.   Baking abilities are helpful.

We are also looking for an EMPLOYEE DINING ROOM COOK to prepare homemade, healthly lunches and dinners for 50-60 employees.  This position also includes daily prep work and cleaning.

HOUSEKEEPING positions are still available. 

HOST(ess)-We have one opening for a host/barista in our restaurant.  This person is also the cashier.  Restaurant and/or cash register experience is helpful but not required.

Hours are recorded on a digital time clock, a basic 40 hour work week with anything over 40 hours a week considered overtime and paid at one and half times your hourly wage.  This year we are offering an hourly bonus throughout the peak season for each employee.  The bonus is awarded and paid to you at completion of your season as listed on employment application.  We try to give you plenty of opportunities to take advantage of the many wildlife and scenic experiences available in our area, two days off a week is important to us. 

Dormitory style housing is available at Pahaska along with 3 square meals a day in our employee dining room.  Sorry, we do not have housing for family, children, or pets.  Pahaska is a drug free, smoke free work environment.  The employee housing is smoke free, no cigarette smoking allowed in the buildings.  All employees are expected to exhibit proper hygiene and have a clean and neat appearance at all times; loud hair, tattoos, facial jewelry or excessive metal will not be tolerated and those exhibiting these features need not apply.
