Mustang Monument: Wild Horse Eco-Resort & Preserve is located 25 miles south of Wells, Nevada. Our 2013 summer season runs from May 1st to September 30th.

Nestled in the Nevada Spruce Mountains, Mustang Monument, a Wild Horse Sanctuary & Eco-Resort, is truly a one-of-a-kind getaway. Surrounded by majestic mountain ranges in the middle of the wilderness, the resort spans over 900 square miles. Base is located at 5,700 ft. and the top of the mountain is at 10,700 ft. Experience the Wild West and learn about the wild horse—a living symbol of our American heritage and freedom. Guests will have the opportunity to visit the mustangs for a customized overnight safari experience that is sure to be an adventure of a lifetime. The Eco-Resort is located 25 miles south of Wells, Nevada. We will be having our Grand Opening this summer.

Our Ideal Candidate

This is a unique and exciting opportunity for the right individual. Our ideal candidate is passionate about horses, the wilderness and is dedicated to providing five-star service.

Room and Board

We have unique tipi camp housing available for our seasonal staff and all meals will be provided for the entire length of your employment at Mustang Monument. Bathroom facilities include a portable shower and commode.

Getting Here and Getting Around

The nearest town is 25 miles away, so it’s recommended, but not necessary, to bring your own transportation.

The closest airport to Mustang Monument is Elko Regional Airport (approx 1 hour away driving time) and Salt Lake City

International Airport (approx 2.5 hours away driving time). There is also a private airport with a 55 ft runway in Wells,

NV for chartered flights just 25 miles away. Mustang Monument is located south of Wells, NV on Highway 93. Driving from Salt Lake City, drive west on Highway I-80 and then South on Highway 93. Driving from Elko, drive East on Highway I-80 and then South on Highway 93.
