McGinnis Meadows Cattle & Guest Ranch

Summer at McGinnis Meadows Cattle & Guest Ranch in Montana

We are an upscale cattle and guest ranch in northwest Montana. The ranch is nestled in the Aspens and Doug Firs on the edge of McGinnis Meadows with tall timbered mountains around us. We are small, only 15 to 19 guests per week and our main emphasis is our horse & cattle program.

McGinnis Meadows

Guests of all levels, from beginner to experienced, learn the Buck Brannaman/Ray Hunt style of horsemanship and we put it all to use working cattle and exploring the surrounding country. We enjoy giving our guests a best of both worlds experience from our horse and cattle program to our lodging and food.

Our guests not only enjoy the comforts of cozy lodging, upscale ranch style family dining, registered quarter horses and custom tack, but they enjoy getting to know our crew and sharing in each day’s adventures. Every position at the ranch is important and is noticed.

Getting Here and Getting Around

The ranch is 70 miles, an hour and a half from Kalispell, Montana, and 40 miles from Libby, Montana. We highly recommend driving your own car to the ranch for the 1 to 2 mile commute to the ranch each day and if you would like to head to town on your days off. A mountain bike works great for getting back and forth to work too. If flying into Montana, you’ll fly into Glacier International Airport. We can pick you up and bring you out. Saturdays and Sundays work best anytime before 3 pm. Delta, Northwest, Horizon, United, and America West fly into Glacier International Airport.

If driving, please contact us and we will give you directions to the ranch.
