Lake Bryn Mawr Camp Seeks Qualified Nurse

Presently, we are seeking a Registered Nurse, with a 4 or 8 week availability, who is hard-working, confident, responsible, friendly and a team player. Our Camp Nurses work in our state of the art Health Center that is staffed 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Working as a camp nurse is a combination of first aid, school nursing, and sometimes mom nursing all rolled into one. Your responsibilities include first aid for minor injuries, ensuring the health and safety of campers and staff, daily sick call, communicating specific camper health needs, medical record keeping, communicating with parents, accompanying campers or staff to the hospital (if necessary), and collaborating in an interdisciplinary team approach with doctors, pharmacies and other health care professionals. You will have the opportunity to participate in camp activities and events…..and have FUN!! Truly camp nursing is a rewarding experience in a relaxed and fun atmosphere.
